Old Couple Getting Advice On Their Energy

What is Cosy Homes in Lancashire?

Cosy Homes in Lancashire was launched in 2014 by 13 local authorities in Lancashire following an energy efficiency study commissioned by Blackpool Public Health.

We're a not-for-profit scheme, managed by Rhea Projects, helping residents, landlords and park homeowners with free advice and installations for heating, insulation, and low-carbon renewable technologies.

We work with charities, organisations and product manufacturers across Lancashire to make homes warmer and more energy efficient. Find out all about Cosy Homes here.

Thank you so much for all the help and support you have given us with regard to the new boiler we had installed yesterday. We are so grateful for everything you have done this has cheered my mum up no end and I can't thank you enough.
Hannah Jones - February 2025
We have had a heat pump, new radiators, loft insulation and solar panels. I cannot recommend these workmen Highly enough. Every one of them has been polite, worked so well and they completely tidied up after themselves. They've been a joy to have in our home. Communication with all the firms involved have been excellent.

Chris Conroy has been a great help in making my home warmer. He's very friendly and very efficient and I am very pleased with how he has helped me be a bit more cosy in my draughty house by using reflective sheets behind the radiators, sorting the letterbox, gibing me a smart plug device and making my external door less windy. He should be the face of Cosy Homes.
Geraldine Porter - February 2025
I am so pleased I am with both Richard and Ryan who installed 6 new storage heaters at my house. They were efficient and clean, very helpful and they also helped me set up the app on my phone.
