What is the Boiler Upgrade Scheme Grant?
Air source heat pumps for Lancashire residents who do not qualify for HUG2 or ECO funding
For residents who do not qualify for HUG2 or ECO funding but are interested in installing an Air Source Heat Pump, then the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant offers a £7500 voucher towards the capital cost of installing an Air Source Heat Pump.
As the government pushes towards our goal of reaching net-zero by 2050 the BUS scheme has been introduced to help homeowners substantially reduce their carbon footprint along with the potential to reduce their heating and hot water bills.
The scheme is now open for applications for homeowners of existing dwellings, self-build properties and also for commercial buildings with up to a 45kW heat load. This scheme operates through our preferred manufacturer, Global Energy Systems Ltd based in Lytham.
