An independent Community Interest Company (CIC)
Connect4U is an independent Community Interest Company (CIC) set up in 2019 to support vulnerable residents in Lancashire who have no heating or hot water and are unable to meet their customer contribution towards having essential heating improvements.
Connect4U will support residents who have accessed the Cosy Homes in Lancashire initiative and where a shortfall in funding has been identified. Funding is limited and cases will only be referred to the CIC when all other avenues have been exhausted.
A panel of current and former Local Authority Officers meet on a monthly basis to review individual cases where an application for shortfall funding has been submitted. If successful, funding is made available which enables essential heating measures to be installed.
