If you need help with a new boiler, home appliances or energy saving and income maximisation advice, this is for you.

What is LEAP?

The Local Energy Advice Partnership (LEAP)

LEAP is designed to help as many people as possible who are either already in, or at risk of falling into fuel poverty.
The eligibility requirements are broad and is open to all types of householders - homeowners, private renters and social housing tenants.

LEAP offers the following:

Free energy advice which may include a home visit
Boiler replacement scheme
White goods replacement scheme
Income maximisation advice

Your contact details and address are required as part of your application for Rhea to arrange the retrofit survey.

Please be aware that most of our funding must meet the guidelines set as by the UK Government.

I / We live in Lancashire.
I / We own the house, or I have my Landlords' permission to do any work
I / We qualify as household income is less than £36,000 or I/we are in receipt of a Means Tested Benefit
If your home has no mains gas central heating you could be eligible for a Home Upgrade Grant (HUG). You can qualify automatically for a HUG if you live in an eligible Post Code area and your house has an EPC of D, E, F or G.

Next steps

Everyone who applies for LEAP will first have an appointment with an Energy Advisor through the LEAP Energy Advice Service. As part of this, your eligibility and suitability for the schemes will be assessed.

Access to the boiler and appliance schemes is only available after this appointment.
