Barnacre-with-Bonds Parish Council invites you

Come and meet your local Parish Councillors plus staff from Age UK, Wyre Council, Lancashire Police & Wyre Rivers Trust.
There will be freebies and refreshments.

We'll be there to talk about the government funded Home Upgrade Grant (HUG). HUG is available for Lancashire home owners, landlords and residential park homes, to receive energy savings measures worth up to £38,000, for free, with no requirement to pay anything back.

If your home has no gas central heating with an EPC of D, E, F or G and;

  • your property is in an eligible postcode area (see Eligible Post Code)
  • your household income is less than £36,000 OR,
  • someone in your household is in receipt of a means tested benefit OR,

then you could qualify for free air source heat pump central heating, solar PV panels, all types of insulation, single glazed window upgrades and more!

Old Couple Getting Advice On Their Energy

What is Cosy Homes in Lancashire?

Cosy Homes in Lancashire was launched in 2014 by 13 local authorities in Lancashire following an energy efficiency study commissioned by Blackpool Public Health.

We're a not-for-profit scheme, managed by Rhea Projects, helping residents, landlords and park homeowners with free advice and installations for heating, insulation, and low-carbon renewable technologies.

We work with charities, organisations and product manufacturers across Lancashire to make homes warmer and more energy efficient. Find out all about Cosy Homes here.
